Urban flair meets rustic vintage at Workhaus Market matching the charming atmosphere of surrounding Old Town Toronto. This 1000 square foot event space features beautiful exposed brick, hardwood flooring, decorative fireplace, reclaimed wood, and graffiti artwork. It has a 14 foot central bar, seating for 50 guests, and accommodates up to 80. Workhaus Loft is an ideal venue for events of all kinds.
Located in the heart of Old Town Toronto at the corner of Front and Jarvis Streets, Workhaus Loft is only a short walk away from both Union and King Stations.
Workhaus FiDi (56 Temperance St.)
The uncorporate-corporate feel of this location sets the perfect ambiance for any event requiring a central location. This 1000 square foot event space features a stunning polished concrete floor, unique wall art, and warm lighting. Seating for 40 guests, and accommodates up to 70. Workhaus FiDi is an ideal venue for intimate gatherings, cocktail parties, and workshops.
Our expert team will guide you from day one in planning your event down to the finest detail. We are committed to bringing your vision to a reality. In addition a Workhaus team member will be there for you for the duration of your event to ensure your event runs seamlessly from beginning to end.
We offer a variety of packages from our preferred caterer, The Corner Place Restaurant. They have vast experience in catering from small to large events, and are familiar with the Workhaus Loft space. Our event manager will handle all the communication between you and our preferred caterer, preventing any miscommunications and delays. Outside catering is allowed with a 15% landmark fee.
There is no additional charge for using our central bar, keg fridge, or full service kitchen. Alcohol cannot be supplied by the venue, however our event manager can guide you in creating a drink list suited for your needs. To serve alcohol at your event you need a Special Occasions Permit (SOP) which can be obtained through the LCBO or AGCO. We recommend applying no later than 15 days before the event. At an additional charge our event manager can obtain the SOP for your added convenience. We have well-trained bartenders available to serve drinks and to do complete set up and clean up. To ensure quality service no outside bartenders or servers are allowed.
We are fully equipped with projectors and TV Screens at all Workhaus locations, which can be connected to a laptop for presentations and slideshows.
