The health and safety of our members has always been a top priority at Workhaus. As we take this time to establish new operational plans to re-open, we will be unwavering in our continued commitment to keep everyone – members, staff, visitors, suppliers, etc – safe and healthy.
As a Canadian coworking leader, our team has spent a great deal of time considering the future of our spaces and how to best support all current and prospective members. Under the advisory of government and public health agencies, we will be making space and services updates to maintain safety and physical distancing best practices in three key areas:
Cleaning and Sanitation
Upon re-opening, we will be working with property management and our Community Managers to maintain and enhance our cleaning and sanitizing operations. Common areas, including lounges, phone booths, kitchens, boardrooms, bathrooms, and print stations will be cleaned and disinfected throughout the day.
Prioritizing Personal Space
Our team is diligently reviewing and re-configuring each location to increase the amount of personal space for each member to maintain physical distancing. Changes such as staggered seating, buffer zones, and updated capacities will be introduced upon re-opening.
Behavioral Signage / Decals
Following local public health and government recommendations, helpful behavioral signage and decals will be placed in strategic locations around the office. These will provide information and directions on social distancing, hand-washing, maintaining a clean environment, and much more.
We are in the process of finalizing the specifics around each point above over the coming days. A comprehensive guide including all updates and changes will be made available to current and prospective members.
Most importantly, know that the entire Workhaus team is dedicated to making sure that everyone can continue to do what they do best in a safe environment upon returning to the workplace.
We will see you soon. Stay safe, stay healthy, and stay positive.
