The final Friday of Stampede found Workhaus at Oxford Properties’ annual kick-up, Oxford Stomp.
Held once again at the Shaw Millennium Park beside the old armoury, it was a perfect evening to watch some classic Canadian talent. The Odds, Amanda Marshall, and living legend Bryan Adams all took to the stage to a crowd of over ten thousand.Fortunate enough to have VIP passes; we had a traditional cowboy feast of beef on a bun, coleslaw and baked beans. The crowd was festooned in their cowboy and cowgirl best, with a sea of hats bobbing along to the artist’s hits. The party continued on afterwards at the Wild Horse tent, where the music genre changed back to Country and people danced and two-stepped the night away…
