Workhaus Social Recap: Paint & Sip

Last night, Workhaus had a cozy and intimate social, encouraging our members to set their creative side free – that’s right, we brought back our Paint & Sip event.

Hosted by Community Manager Sam, the lounge at our FiDi location was transformed into a painters’ studio, to get the creative juices flowing. Members from all around came together to create their own individual masterpiece.We had some Members creating landscape pieces while others tackled city skylines. Drake was coming in strong with that hotline bling, while we got a beautiful portrait of a members’ dog. Of course, there was always space for a starry night and a few abstract pieces.

While the event began with cheerful discussion gathered around the drinks and snacks table, it quickly became silent as members began to create their art.

Concentration was key.

The more their pieces developed, the more open they became to sharing their visions with each other. Providing us with the story behind their works of art.

Looking ahead; Workhaus is hosting a Cinco de Mayo event Friday night on May 3rd. There will be margaritas, snacks and beers to celebrate the night. RSVP to Annie@workhaus.ca
